I'm Alive!

Hello again,

So after a decent start with regular posts I come back having failed to even acknowledge my little corner of the internet for like 6 whole weeks BUT! before any of you out there give up on me I have good reason…I have been almost entirely consumed in completing a Level 3 Personal Training course! Wooo!

The course was with Train Fitness Industry and I wholly recommend them to anyone considering a qualification in fitness. When comparing the various providers Train Fitness offered the most affordable rates for the same qualifications and recognition that others nearly twice the price did. The main bulk of the theory is provided online which is why I imagine they are able to have such affordable rates. That being said, it was so, so useful having online learning and downloadable podcasts as it meant I was able to access the material whenever it took my fancy!

Another reason for choosing Train Fitness was the locality. Most of the other providers were London-based and whilst Train Fitness has its headquarters in the Big Smoke I couldn’t up and leave for four weeks. Train Fitness offers programmes up and down the country. I attended in Nottingham and had the best tutor, she was faultless – friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful in sharing her industry experience.

It is a very intense course, more so than I expected, but it is achievable.  This course has consumed me for the last four weeks but I have loved every minute of it, the days flew by with a mix of theory and practical and I can actually say I feel a little lost without it.

But onwards and upwards…with nutrition and fitness qualifications its now time to build a career! I’m fully aware that it's going to be a hard slog for an indefinite period of time but I’m feeling renewed in having a purpose once more. Whether I succeed or fall flat on my arse is almost entirely up to me...a scary thought but motivation enough to work hard and make something of myself in the industry.

Watch this space for my new business ventures but more imminently, more healthy recipes, nutritional advice, fitness tips and inevitable ramblings!

* This post was not sponsored by Train Fitness, my opinions are my own…I was just massively impressed with this provider.
